Dave is a math ninja who slays equations without breaking a sweat. So he loves teaching math at High Tech High Media Arts.
Dave also loves his students, because he says they are the only people who laugh at his jokes. Dave's goal is to inspire a future generation of thinkers who are not afraid to tap into their own curiosity, and who will boldly tackle the challenges faced by our generation.
Dave is a curious mixture of math nerd and renegade skater. Dave studied physics at the University of California San Diego, where he built an award winning, remotely controlled submarine. He is often spotted ripping skate spots all over town.
The frigid winters of Minnesota propelled Dave to pack all his belongings into a car and head west. He's worked all kinds of odd jobs, from theoretically calculating the high-pressure behavior of deep Earth minerals to making lattes and parking planes.
Dave is constantly awed by nature, and last summer he rode his motorcycle from San Diego to Alaska so he could experience first-hand the beauty of virgin wilderness, not to mention the taste of bugs in his teeth.
Dave welcomes you into his classroom and into the elegant world of math. Buy the ticket, take the ride... |
